Dr Steven Gecha

Biography

Dr. Gecha graduated from Yale University and received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School. He completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then served a one year Sports Medicine Fellowship in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania Sports Medicine Center. During his fellowship, Dr. Gecha was involved with the care of numerous college and professional sports teams, including the Philadelphia Flyers professional ice hockey team. Over the last decade Dr. Gecha has been involved with the care of hundreds of tennis players and is considered an expert in treating injuries that are common among tennis players (both acute and overuse injuries).
